IGT Toscana Rosso Donna Flavia
Produced mainly from the native Tuscan grape varietal Ciligiolo, traditionally used to accompany and soften the more popular Sangiovese, this light wine has a strong cherry aroma, as the grape varietal’s name suggests. A fruity and feminine wine that nevertheless has good body and persistence from the additional Sangiovese and Colorino grapes.

IGT Toscana Rosso Le Maritate
This genuine young wine is produced from old vines that come from a traditional Tuscan field that wasn’t exclusive to vines; these “promiscuous” vineyards were frequently interlaced with olive trees or other cultivars. When other plants were used to assist the vine’s growth, the vines were referred to as “maritate” or wedded. The mixed, red and white grape varietals native to Tuscany grow interwoven with field maples, small trees that have become life-long companions to the vines.
