Produced from selected Sangiovese grapes and aged for at least 8 months in large oak barrels, this balanced, medium bodied wine offers rich aromas, plenty of dark fruits and good structure. With mild acidity, it will pair well with cold cuts and heartier Tuscan dishes.

Vineyards: 11ha divided in two parts, both cultivated using the bilateral cordon cultivation system
Soil: mixed clay, very rich in skeleton
Harvest: manual harvest in perforated crates, mid to end of September, with meticulous selection at the sorting table

Fermentation: 
with indigenous yeasts in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, long maceration on the skins with frequent pump-overs
Ageing: 8 months in Slavonian oak barrels selected by Stockinger
Refining: 6 months of bottle refinement before market release

Alcohol: 14%

Color: intense ruby red color, clear.
Nose: Ample and persistent, with fruity notes well blended with hints of the wood in which the wine aged
