Ciliegiolo is a native red grape varietal to Tuscany that is most commonly found in red wine blends, but has been vinified in purity since the start of La Selva’s wine production. A historic label for a limited production of just 2000 annual bottles, an elegant and characteristic wine with the figurative name Satus, from the Latin word for generation, origin and birth. An intense and elegant wine with a grand structure, fine tannins and a long finish. Pairs well with wild game and other dishes rich in flavours, can be left to age for another 10 years in the cellar.
